Over the time it has been ranked as high as 125 699 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from Egypt, where it reached as high as 976 position. It was owned by several entities, from Mohamed Hassan of IdeaICT to Central Unit of SphinUX Community, it was hosted by Hetzner Online AG, SEDO GmbH and others.

Sphinux has a decent Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Sphinux.org is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to Siteadvisor and Google safe browsing analytics, Sphinux.org is quite a safe domain with mostly negative visitor reviews.
